How do you measure an AI workforce? Not in tokens per second — in work done. The Dwight Schrute Benchmark (Dw) is a new standard we're developing to quantify AI agent productivity in human-equivalent units. One Dw equals one full human office worker's 8-hour shift output: emails triaged, reports written, meetings scheduled, trackers updated. Real office work, measured rigorously.
The benchmark is nearly complete. Early results are coming in — and they are astonishingly productive. In initial runs, agents are completing full 8-hour workloads in a fraction of the time, projecting theoretical output rates that dwarf what any single human employee could accomplish in a day.
